When my friend and mentor, Jan Denbutter, was alive, he and I would go out to paint landscapes in the early morning light. Some of my paintings reflect the unique lighting that comes from that experience. Other paintings were done from slides or photographs that caught my fancy. An art critic once told me that if I wanted to succeed as an artist I needed to develop a distinctive style; but I haven’t managed to do it; I’m just having fun after all.
My paintings are scattered far and wide, but I have managed to get photographs of most of them. I hope you will enjoy what I have.
